omg FUCK AT&T, for last few weeks, my ping been going up and down, and spikesl ike woa. I can play with lag, just not when it spikes alot, upto 300.

Desi at least your spikes are somewhat bearable. Over the past 2 weeks I've been spiking in excess of 2000! It lasts for a good minute to, rendering me useless. I am in the same boat, my cable (cox) is my only choice :( I can't wait to move!!

We have the same problem here, its even worse when Kitty and I try to play at the same time and sometimes our pings start to climb till they are over 1500..lol...sigh...too many low life neighboors downloading pron all day

Would switching to dsl make any difference at all?Cause that is what we ended up doing...not that I see any difference cause...well I don't play UT just K and he isn't around to suck up any bandwith blah blah blah...you guys get the idea.

OH yes The att shaft.. You wouldnt believe some of the shit I went through with that Fucked up company.. Count it more than 50 times Did I call and 5 different Techs can to the house.. Even Ratty came over I showed him.. Get Different Service.. I switch and found Horizon DSL Just down the block from me. Got a great deal on it too man.. Look around. ATTBI Might be big but they sure as hell dont have the slightest Clue on how to be Honest about there Service.... Make the change... You will find that if you do your Route To your gateway and beyond, The singnal might as well went to Japan first.. I routed my shit from washington to Newjersy and back to seattle, Some times Neotrace would lose the trace because of going back and fourth acrossed the USA more than 5 to 6 times to get to California.. Make the change

Verison sucks SOOOOOOO much asssssss. I went from DSL to Cable, Man mY ping have been good all the time since that, If anyone that has known me I had so much problems with Verison.
Plus My work which i get my cable service from has at most 420 households on one node most have 250 on average so i am not going to complain.

Yeah merger was approved, and guess what. There are rumors that they are gonna start Capping the connection. Like 5-10gb/month. I say FUCK THAT.

Kancer man...i remember all that shit with your ATT connection. I actually still have a screen shot from one of the neotrace maps i did to you then. Keep in mind ppl....kancer lives in the state of washington, not the city....

I used to have another one that actually went from me, to east coast, to san francisco, back to east coast, then to Kancer but I must have deleted it.
