    I need help

    I some how got this messed up quick search page i have tried everythng i know of to change it back to goggle but have nt been able to. I have edited my registery, did everything that i can in windows and so on if anyone knows of something else to try then please tell me.

    you mean like the google toolbar? you cant get rid of it by right clicking on the top of the browser and de-selecting it from there?

    I'm confused as to what the problem is.

    When you load I.E. some quick page thing loads up? If that's the question is could be something like Comet Cursor's dumb ie plugin or maybe something like gator. Try downloading Ad-Aware 6.0 from www.lavasoftusa.com. This rids you of spyware. I'm not sure of the problem but this might help.

    to clear it up
    I some how got gator on my system and its is conroling my search page. I have used adware to get rid of it but it keeps coming back gator that is but that was adware 5 downloading 6

    Ok, I've had gator on my system a couple times I've found it easy to remove. When instlaling DivX codec's that bundle with gator I know the file is gaintrickler.exe. You can try searching for that on your HD. Also make sure it's not in your running processes. Basically anything with GAIN in it stands for Gator and is evil.

    I download adawre 6{and had 5 for a while now} last night did a search and it said it got rid of it, but did not I downloaded another program called SpybotSD it worked It actaully was not gator that cause that it call IGETNET it was a redirect thing in the registry I like this new program.
