I'm looking to see if anyone has any opinions on the logitech bluetooth wireless mouse+keyboard. I've read terrible reviews on the microsoft combo but haven't found anything worthwhile on the logitech one. I'm going to use it for gaming on my HDTV and need something with good distance and reception. I've heard bluetooth is the way to go for this.
well i cant comment on the logitech version, but ill make a general comment on the bluetooth wireless equipment. its a company that i beleive is operated by microsoft and is all proprietary hardware so you have to buy the bluetooth wireless card, the bluetooth wireless networking kit, the bluetooth yadda yadda yadda. i dont advise going with any product that is so proprietary. plus you said you read the msft version was bad....i dont see why this trashheap would be any better!

I could be wrong but MAC came out with it first I believe. They might not have invented it but have had it offered for awhile. At least the first time I heard of it was after a MACWORLD event.
No, I am not promoting my MACS, just stating what I thought. I hear Bluetooth is awesome. Wireless isn't the way to go on gaming is what i heard, but that was before Bluetooth though.
Bluetooth sure has the distance and power consumption to work good for months, but the problem is that bluetooth interfears with anything from cell phones to my sack, and every time you talk on your phone or turn on the microwave, your keyboard will be as predictible as hexum's period... Go with a good radio keyboard such as interlink http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...tby=14&order=1
i remember there was some other company selling cheaper stuff, but interlink is the shit when it comes to entertaiment system keyboard.
HDTV is High Definition TeleVision. The resolutions are as high as 1080i dpi, compared to 480 something of regular tvs. DVDs dont support HDTV. New standard called HD-DVD is being finalized that can hold something like 30 gigs of movie so you can have it is such a huge resolution... IMAX is HD-enabled i believe.
