I wrote up the following web page tonight in hopes that I can get these irc issues with gamesurge figured out once and foreall. As you may or may not know, i have been using this stupid online irc client and its just a pain in the ass and I am tired of using it. If I get no help from gamesurge after this, I am hanging in the irc towel for good. Check it out and let me know if you have any thoughts on the matter, I am at the end of my rope in dealing with this and any help I can get on it the better.

I actually got emails from two different admins at gs about this so far. One of them is some bitch who didnt realy like what I did by making the site. It sounds like the other guy is going to add me to an exception list though, but I only just now replied to him with some more requested info so we shall see.

WOOOOHOOOO!!! Im back bitches!!! I got an email back from gs and the guy recomended that I take a look at what ports I had open on my router, as apparently they scan for 4 or 5 particular ports when you connect. Sure as shit I had a number of ports open from some remote access testing I was doing a while back, as well as a couple of others I no longer needed. I closed them up and BAMMM!! NO MORE GLINES!!

Put that info on your page as a followup and post those scanmed-for ports here man. May help someone in the future.

Lemme guess...one of the ports scanned for is 31337 (Back Orifice)...the others are probaly NetBus and the like.

well...on their page one of the ports they say they scan is 8080. I had two machines setup with webservers using ports 8082 and 8083. I also had some other ports open for some various shit but I believe those are the ones that caused it.
