yee of little faith in your Windows hackers. I wouldn't get in too much of a huff. No hurdle thrown by Microsoft has ever gone unleaped and try as they may in Vista, they will not sucscede. In due time, it will just come down to ones Googling skills.

Vista, the "ultimate gaming platform", is much slower than running the same game on XP as well. Vista is looking more and more like WindowsME every day.

My friend is running vista business edition on his pc (thats the highest version available) and everything is fine. I actually prefer it, to xp. On the other hand, he doesn't use his pc for games so I can't really comment on that part but I love all of the little features that it has that xp lacks. And it also looks really cool

*EDIT* on a side note, the compatibility issues can be a little annoying, but that is to be expected since it is a brand new OS and they haven't really made anything specifically designed with vista in mind as of yet. At least, nothing that's been completed anyway.

as long as winamp stays winamp i shall forever avoid newer versions of WMP and go to the old school WMP if need be.
