UT99 server issues sorted

You can now add my server to you in-game favorites. I was missing a whole section from my ini file for master server communication...and I think I initially did that ion purpose to "lay low" then forgot about it. Ah well, fixed now!

You need to use the ip addy to add it: 65.254.46.201

Also added 3 maps and reduced the min bot count to 6.

also never use admin commands in spectator mode. this was what caused the earlier problems involving me crashing both buddha's and palli's servers. my bad, but then again i didnt know

Bots are fun to customize. I made one that jumped up and down like a monkey, but couldn't frag you even if you were in its face.

I remember the one that I set that was like a sleeper, but if it finally noticed you, you were dead. I would try to crouch up to it, and stuff and taunt. Then, boom I was dead.

You should have laid low and not advertised. Now your server is going to get alot of crap hits.

all sorts of shit to lag it down. people pinging it all the time, checking for it's security, hacking ports, and who else knows what. there's a bunch of people with nothing to do out there, but cause trouble.

Ummm...yeah. That's what firewalls and an IDS are for. And it's not stuff like that wasn't happening already...UT99 and it's presence being broadcast to a master server has nothing to do with it.

IB servers were around for years and we never had a single problem being hacked. I dont see that being a problem as Buddha so gracefully pointed out.

No, it's not that the hacking will be successful, it's that they can cause connection issues. Hopefully the ut99 master server is better than the ut2k4 one. That has caused problems.
