The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

I've heard some buzz about this flick and gave it a go on Netflix streaming. It's REALLY fkn good! Most suspense /murder mysteries don't hold my attention, but this one did. Throw in some sadism + computer hacking and you've got a nicely twisted film.

Don't read all the descriptions of the movie, you'll ruin all the surprises. Also, I thought the subtitles would bug me like they usually do, but they didn't because the movie isn't too dialog heavy. I actually got used to reading them and it worked out.

Although fake, check out the tat on the girl (just like the movie title). You'll notice the dragon on her back, but look for the dragon tail "coming out" of the side of her right thigh. Looks fkn badass when you put it all together!

I have heard a lot about this movie and book series since last year when Stieg Larsson died.

I heard that they are remaking it in Hollywood.

I bet Hollywood makes a lame remake like they did with "La Femme Nikita". The original of that was so much better.

The sadism and torture that's important to the story and plot will end up being watered down bullshit.

Yea, you're right, not much dialogue. It kept me interested throughout the movie. I bet the breasts will be bigger in the American version.

Watched this last night. Was damn good. I'm not sure what you guys mean though when you say there isn't much dialogue...seemed like a normal amount to me. A mute point though. The girl definitely needs a boob job...and a razor for those nasty pits. All that aside it was a very well made movie that kept me intrigued throughout.

Hmmm...maybe I got even more used to reading the subtitles than I thought. I should try to go back and watch Pan's Labyrinth. That movie was subtitled and I couldn't watch it after 10 minutes of "reading" and not "watching".
