I'm done with my Bible course (ungh!) and it took me exactly half a day to get bored. I'm probably gonna buy the game...even moreso now that iI see the single player part is pretty good and a second patch for the game came out today on Steam. Initial reports before the first patch were that the PC version was "not done and completely broken". I think the first patch helped immensely.
Admin is XBOX and PS3 since I gave up on the PC side due to the ease of writing cheats that get around just about any protection scheme put in place. Plus I think my Boss would be a little curious why my Airline bill always included so much extra luggage.
From what I have been reading here and there they have been fixing the PC side, and it seems the patches are on the positive side. I will always play PC until it dies out, one day it will. And even then I doubt I will console at all.

PS: Bought the game on Steam for PC earlier.
More patches definitely needed on the PC version. It locks up occasionally for a while...a few times every match.
Also, it doesn't help I have to play at 1280x720 on my nice, new monitor.
Update on the PC versions lack of "smoothness". I rebooted and stopped running Folding @ Home while playing (plus the program that tells F@H to give priority to other programs had died) and now all is well (at least offline so far). Maybe now I can bump the res back up.
Jay: Last night I'd click on you or Cindy's name in my Steam friend list and I couldn't pick "Join Game". You might have not been in a game at that point, maybe that was it.
Got BO in the mail today. The whole m/kb support is BS!! Mouse doesn't do shit, and it appears you need an adapter in order for it to work. So, I have been playing for an hour or so with the control pad...it sucks as much as I suspected it would.
If anyone is interested in picking up BO for the PS3, I would probablly sell it for a decent price. Let me know. Im almost leaning towards selling the PS3 altogether, but I think Santa is getting me the new Assassains Creed and that game does in fact kick ass, so I am going to hold off for a bit.
Does anyone know if there is going to be a BO demo for the PC? I would be interested to see if it is playable at all on my laptop.

No demo for the PC. I just got it on steam last night. w4r.hexum is the name or Hexum or hexum311 not sure.
In the PC version there's a "friends list" in the server browser. Is that list linked somehow to our Steam Friends or do we need to manually add some sort of username to the list for names to show up?
It is your steam friends that show up there if they are playing.
