Things are good, I have been ultra busy with the biz and the family, Doing a bunch of travelling around country. I am no longer with nato, and with pure doing what it is to mac based unreal, finding servers that will take me is a challenge. I am wait for the OSX release of UT2003, so I can get up to speed and start slaughtering agian, let me know it you have a server that I can play on and we'll kill each other. (truth is it will be a good time to kill me I am very rusty:D

Yeah I am still hanging in Richmond VA I didn't take any job, I started my own company and it is rolling. That is what has been eating all of my time. I travel more, but I have seen my kids more in the last year than I did in the previous 6, sad really, I had to get laid off to see my family more, but it all works out. God has been good to me this year:D

First, Vyper, I thought you were a new incarnation of Viper[CS], an old teammate of mine from back in the b8/cs days. Which as any old members will tell you Viper was most assuredly a guy and one that bumped heads with me a few times when I was leading CS2. CSHP and Pure play hell with the mac ut right now, and our good friends (read that as Mac hating fucks who wont fix their shitty code because they might have to think about some other people) at midnight downloads have no plans to make it right for mac guys. The sad part is that a lot of mac guys just aren't playing anymore because of this. So I sit here and wait for epic to finish the mac version of ut2k3.

I know that reading/following instructions is anathema to Mac users, particularly when they include arcane directives like "edit your .ini file" and "extract files to this folder." And with you having a "life" and all I can understand how anything that requires effort on your part could be seen as wasteful and evidenciary of Mac hatred. I merely point out that other people who have the same handicaps as you have managed to play the game, Pure or no Pure.

You might want to check in with |IB|Hexum, who has used said instructions successfully.

Course, I have never tried to get UT to work on a Mac, myself, so you're right: I have no proof that these instructions actually work. And my only experiences troubleshooting Macs have all ended in frustration and pain. Even my Mom, a Mac user of 10+ years, finally decided it wasn't worth the regular pain and suffering and switched over to a PC.

Anyway. If the instructions don't work, post something in the MI forums. There are plenty of folks there who will surely be able to help.
