thats because it's not a product... it's a chipset. kinda like you buy a Geforce card from any number of companies, you will be able to buy a Shock peripheral made by any number of 3rd parties. It's the chipsets inside which will ensure 100% compatability. The site even says, you can use a basestand from company X with a controller made by company Y and it'll all work without a hitch. Dev kits went to developers at the beginning of the summer, so i would think these things aren't too far off.

did you read the site Ari? the controllers will also function as wireless PC gamepads, and they operate on RF instead of you having to deal with crappy IR wireless products *cough*Logitech*cough*
