screw desktopX... litestep forever! :) i even got froste (who was the one using X) to switch to LS and he likes it much more.... it's free, can grab it from http://www.litestep.com

LS has tons of features, and the best part is that the community is releasing new modules all the time. the GPL aspect of Litestep puts it head and shoulders above licence-ware like DestopX in my opinion, and LS is designed to be completley user-customizable. The best part is that it replaces Explorer as your system shell instead of running on TOP of explorer like DesktopX does. frees up a lot of RAM :)
