another reason why I want to get out of this town. this is just a party town. everytime we go out to do something..it leads into clubbing. we went out to eat a couple days ago...then we went clubbing...we went bowling last night...then we went clubbing. I didn't plan on getting drunk last night. I figured I'd just have a couple of drinks. But I didn't know the bartender was giving me more alcohol in my drinks than usual cause my roommate knows him. So I got a little tipsy. Not exactly drunk. But at least I was able to go home before my friends.

You can go out clubbing and drink and still drive home. Just get sloshed early on in the night and then chill. Like I'd go out at 10:30 - 11:30 start drinking and stop by 1:30 - 2:00. Then go home at 4:00.

Those times were taken from a night when I had 4 tequila sunrises, and 4 beers. Granted that might have been a bit much to drive home on but I was in Florida and know my limits. Out here in Colorado I wouldnt do that because the roads are all jacked up without lights and shit all twisty and bumpy and I dont know my way around so good!

driving drunk is stupid and you can really mess up your life for one bad decison. ive done it many times in the past and never thought twice about it, but then one time i passed out and woke up in a ditch with 2 state highway patrols behind me. screwed my life up for a solid 6 months. good thing i was underage then, and somehow blew a .099 2 hours later after they arrested me. i consider that lucky i guess, but also i have never drove after drinking since then.

just do the right thing, and call a friend or a cab. :)

Driving drunk is definitely not a good thing...although I probably do it more than I should. Well even once is more than anyone should. It is stupid; but I usually go to bars that are within 5 minutes of home, and there is never anyone on the streets I drive back on that late at night. I was even followed by a cop one night and didn't get pulled over. I am a very good driver IMO, but it doesn't mean I should drive intoxicated.
