Running 2 versions of Vent

I think subtlety or someone told me how to do it but I'm having probelms setting it up. I want to run both vent's without having to uninstall one and reinstall the other. If I have the old one installed (and I even changed the directory name from ventrilo to ventrilo2) and I try and install the 2.2.0 (new version) it says it can't continue until you uninstall the old version. I've tried it vice-versa as well. Can somebody type some directions on how to do this? I also know some other people that are interested in doing this as well.

K after searching google for a while I'll answer my own question for those of you wanting to do this...

1) Install v2.1
2) Rename directory to Ventrilo-2.1
3) Uninstall Ventrilo v2.1
4) Install Ventrilo v2.2

Create desktop shortcuts for each .exe and name them accordingly so you know which one you're running.

Actually it's much simpler than that. You only need 1 vent directory and the executable files for each version. I have my ventrilo installed and ventrilo.exe starts version 2.1.4, then I have a ventrilo220.exe that starts version 2.2.0 (who'd have thunk it?)

I have had both vent versions installed for more than 6 months. I simply added a 1 at the end of the second ventrilo I installed and have the ability to boot both easily. Most people don't realize that.

So it's clear why we run the old vent, it's because the new one limits you to eight users at a time unless you pay for it. We're not paying for it. I don't want to use TS (it's like the AM radio of voice chat), so we've stuck with the old version.
