To all who live around Dallas...

I want to ask you a favor. On June 21 the tour will be in dallas.

AMD and Microsoft are bringing you 64-bit computing at substantial savings! Use your bundle to build a demo system for trade shows, training, and customer evaluations. Act now by registering for Tech Tour and reserving your bundle. This offer is only available through the registration site, and you must attend the AMD/Microsoft Tech Tour 2005 to purchase.
Desktop Bundle - Price = $250
Athlon

* — AMD Athlon™ 64 3200+ 939 pin processor
* — Asus A8N-E Socket 939 motherboard
* — Microsoft® Windows® XP x64 Edition

Now ... to those of you who will not take advantage of this offer, I am asking that you do so on my behalf :D

Basically, you sign up to go, and then pre-order the bundle, the catch is, you HAVE to pick the bundle up at the tour stop you register for, and since the stop is coming no where near me, I am asking that one of you sign up and pick this up for me... I know it is a huge favor, but I obviously will be paying for the bundle and its shipping to me in Columbus, Ohio (i have paypal).

Here is the link to the registration. (http://cs.silverpop.com/amd/tech_tour/2005/registration_site1.htm#)

Here is another list of other destinations, in case someone somewhere else can help me out and will not be taking advantage of this for themselves.

June 14 Tampa, Florida
June 16 Atlanta, Georgia
June 21 Dallas, Texas
June 23 Houston, Texas
June 27 Irvine, California
June 29 Burbank, California
July 1 Sunnyvale, California
July 12 Seattle, Washington
July 14 Vancouver, Canada
July 19 Boston, Massachusetts
July 21 East Brunswick, New Jersey

Thanks for the consideration... again if you live around here and will not be taking advantage of the offer, then this is directed towards you :)

Any help would be much appreciated!!

you don't have to pick it up in person? We know a bunch of guys near enough to Dallas LOL

the trick is there has to be PICKED UP by someone ... so i cant really do that because there are no stops near me.

So yes im asking for someone to register, attend and pick up this package for me if they are free on that day. A lot to ask, but i trust you people and im HOPING someone is nice enough to do this for me :D

I already have three motherboards, three dual-core chips (two from Intel and one from AMD), a few copies of Windows XP Professional x64, and the required DDR-RAM. (Note that the Intel boards require DDR-2 RAM, which is not compatible with DDR-RAM.) However, the conference is on a Tuesday, which means there's no way I can make it. (Work sort of takes precedence.)

Artis, it looks like you have to pay the $250 up front, which I think Cavi said he would PayPal to whoever would do it for him.

And, ya, I'm a cock. :P
