Does anyone know of a good gaming laptop? I’m starting to do some traveling for work and I want to be able to do my gamming on the road so I need a new laptop that can do things like Quake-4, COD-2, UT2007. Here are some I’m looking at, let me know if some of these are crap or if you know of a better choice, thanks!

Agreed. The Dell System is bye far the best you have listed there. The Alienware is close behind it.

Stuffit:

Check the gotapex.com site for deals on the Dell XPS II. Deals on that model are more rare than ohter laptops they carry, but occasionally it happens.

http://www.gotapex.com/ (Scroll down a little)

BTW: I would go with the XPS II also...it's a heavy beast but I think you'd be like me and use it as a "portable desktop" as you're not on the go and travelling all the time. you travel and stay at that one spot a little while so weight isn't as much an issue...guessing on your travel needs here... :D

You’re right on the money Buddha. Thanks for the input guys, I ordered the XPS-2 today because they had a $400.00 off deal ending tomorrow. I got everything on it but the kitchen sink for $3040.00 next day delivered. Most of the others it would have been much more for the same configuration. I was toying with the idea of waiting another few months until the Toshiba 19” comes out but after calling them I found out that the box it’s self would not have enough stuff to do what I wanted.

Anyway, thanks all..!!

Well, I know the laptop is gonna rock, but let us know just how much it rocks.

Tech-lust is a good thing sometimes. :P
