I got word from Cavi today that the finals match will be shoutcasted on TSN by TSN|Bridger!

I will post a link once it's up. So everyone pass the word out to all our HQ friends for them to tune in to this exciting matchup.

How does that work? As in does it play in a video player or what. As of right now there will be 11 in the server without CODTV. Hoovie, Cavi and Bridger and the 2 teams.

I'm going to try and do the tip in step 9 on that page (sync the Shoutcast stream and codtv...sounds a little tough, but "do-able")

I'll also be in the w4r peanut gallery vent channel. You guys should try to sync the two streams too since there's a 3 minute delay between them.

9. How do I sync CoDTV with Radio Shoutcasts?
a) start CoDTV then window it
b) start the Shoutcast streaming
c) listen for a time marker - casters often give out times (***** at them in IRC if they don't :P)
d) as soon as you hear a time mark, pause the Shoutcast
e) watch the CoDTV until the match time is almost at the mark, say 2-3 secs, then unpause the Shoutcast.
f) you should be close to in sync now
g) you can add small delays by pausing/unpausing until sync is perfect, but don't let the SC get behind the CoDTV or you'll need to start all over.

One note:

CoDTV is ONLY video... so do BOTH TsN AND CoDTV to get the full effect... the audio will be ahead of the video though.

TsN = 30 second delay
CoDTV = 2min 30sec delay

BE SURE TO DO BOTH!!
