Trillian is the shit, what i use...on everything but msn and like 100000 different irc rooms/servers oh yeah!

trillian's irc client has a few drawbacks when compared to mirc, but i use it all day at work to stay connected to irc.... one less program i have to install on my work machine, i just use trillian for everything :)

for one thing, it doesnt have onjoin scripting, so i can't set it up to automatically connect me to certain channels, reg me with chanserv and various bots i have perms on, etc. A lot of right-click functionality you're used to in mIRC also may be missing, tho it's all still there just not as accessible. Trillian also creates a new window in the taskbar for every chat window while mirc keeps all your stuff self-contained (tho by paying a small fee, i think $25, you can reg for trillian pro and it will collect your windows for you).

Try it out and see what you think. Like i said, it only has a few minor drawbacks but i've managed to bet by with what i need to do, so it makes me happy :bong:

ever use containers in trillian, work good for IRC stuff...put it all in 1 container and it says there...trillian is the BOMB...just have to get a good skin, I will show you a screen shot in a little while.
