I just played a bunch tonight, it was pretty fun. still kinda dont know my way around the maps, but it was alot betterthan the demo.

It's not and official release yet Rav. It's in beta, but Epic has already warned that there are some folks who have had problems after loading it, hence the reason it has not been released yet. If your system is working, and you have no performance issues, then I wouldn't load it.

i know there's a beta out there... i have it saved on my hdd at home but i never loaded it cuz of the problems i heard of people having with it. I was just wondering why these two were going out and saying they needed the patch when there isn't a good working one out there... at least i didnt think a final patch got released, which was why i was asking.

should know better than that :) hehe. atm it looks like installing the beta patch is a fine idea if you don't plan on playing online.... otherwise, wait for the real one.

Hey Tig, glad to hear that you are back! Wish I'd have known, like Deadly said we could have all hooked up while I was out there last month. I'll keep that in mind though for future trips. :)

I played some last night and a bunch today.

I did pretty good, not sure the skill level of my opponents.
