If you missed the series Firefly you should be spanked. However since it was on cable some of you might be forgiven the mistake. It was an awesome series, albeit shortlived, by Joss Weiden ( The guy who brought us Buffy: The Vampire Slayer and Angel.) However it did spawn a full fledged movie with the original series cast, who started the movie almost immediately after the series ended, so they didn't forget how to play their chars. If the movie is any good at all its going to be great.

If you've ever wondered what a neutral evil character really was watch the character Jayne (thats his last name). He is totally self interest motivated.

if you have sci fi channel then you should be able to catch the series firefly again.they have started it back up in that network, just last week.

Taped 8 eps today. However there were 11 issued on Fox and 14 made so I want the other 6 dammit! I don't want to have to buy the DVD but I might anyways.

Wow, you mean someone else watched this series besides me?? I'm going to die of shock. I'm currently watching all the shows a second time since they hit SciFi. I'm hopeing the movie is a big hit so maybe the show will return to the SciFi channel.

That would be soo sweet but I got it wrong Mozzy. It was originally a Fox TV production.

Hell if SciFi picked it up that would rock but I'm not sure if the movie version is going let all of the cast stay for another series. Sigh...

Did you ever watch Babylon Five? That is one of my all time favorite SciFi show. I wish I could get the DVDs but they're a little costly. I keep hopeing that the price will drop. Let me know how good the movie is after you see it.

Did any of you ever watch the BBC tv series "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"? MAN is that bad! I haven't seen acting that bad since my cat tried to pretend he wasn't the one that ate the last piece of KFC! (And that wasn't any good at all, really. We thought the meowls were a little forced.)

I liked the movie mutch better.
And, well, we don't need to talk about how good the books are, really.

I never saw the TV show but if you know me I'm sure I would have loved it.

Still haven't seen the movie but you're one of the few people who have actually admitted enjoy it. Did you drink a lot that night before the movie????
