User Error
that's right, user error in buying the tardware. Registry fail! I have a hard drive issue, sort of why i bought an external backup drive. System restore worked this time. But, still, Vista is total bs.
I have an idea that this stupid Nero software fucked it up. The icon tray showed an icon I've never seen before. It said Nero BackItUp. Apparently, this POS activated when it detected my external backup drive.
Please don't post angry. That only makes partial sense.

Vista 64 was a fucking disaster. Horrible offering as an OS. Windows 7 x64 is absolutely outstanding. Vista x64 was a step back from Win XP x64.
